  • We thought it would be a good time to describe our logo that we had designed to represent our ministry.


    The orphan is represented by a newborn or fetus type shape in order to signify a second chance at life. The abstracted arm of the lady is highlighted while her face is dark in order to place importance on her actions in caring for the child rather than who she is. This is contrasted with the child's face being highlighted to place importance on the individual orphan.


    We feel this captures the essence of what our ministry is all about.

Go Therefore Orphan Ministry is committed to providing the spiritual and physical needs of orphaned children throughout the world by living out the Good News of the gospel according to James 1:27, "Pure and faultless religion is this...to look after orphans and widows in their distress."

Play Ground Thank You!

- Our ministry would like to thank all of you who generously donated the funding to help refurbish and replace some of the playground equipment at the Zau Orphanage in Romania. (more)

Harrison Sisters Visit Romania

- We did not know how close we would become, as sisters, or how much closer our relationship with God would grow in the summer of 2008. We went into the trip with open-hearts and open-minds, but were never fully prepared for the emotional toll the trip would take on us. (more)

Greatest Gift of All

Conference Updates

- As we evaluate our ministry and the transitional living program, we are excited to see that Adriana and Ramona have adjusted well, while Claudia is only at the beginning trying to find her own place in the home. (more)

“Fatherless” in Romania

Go Therefore Orphan Ministry is excited to announce opportunities to assist the “Fatherless” in Romania. With the assistance of the Buckner Foundation in Romania 2 mission trips have been scheduled for 2009. (more)

New Transitional Home for Young Women Opens in Tirgu Mures, Romania

In January 2009, Buckner International – Dallas, Fundatia Buckner – Tirgu Mures, Romania and Go Therefore Orphan Ministries combined efforts to open a transitional home for young women ages 18-22 moving from an orphanage setting into young adulthood. (more)
